From July 1-6, 2025, 48 athletes and 9 coaches from Saskatchewan proudly represented Team Sask at Water Polo Canada’s 2025 National Provincial Championships (NPC), held at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montréal, QC. Over six days of intense competition, through heat, rain, and a packed schedule, our athletes gave it their all across four divisions: 15U Boys, 15U Girls, 19U Men, and 19U Women.
We’re thrilled to celebrate a silver medal finish in the 15U Girls division, led by an incredible performance from Clara Milleker Shyiak, who was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
Team Sask also earned strong fourth-place finishes in 15U Boys, 19U Women, and 19U Men. The 19U Men’s team came just short of the podium in a nail-biting shootout, while the 15U Boys stood out in the tournament’s largest division with consistent team play and determination.
It was also a special week for many returning athletes, who had the chance to reconnect and compete together again—especially within the 19U Women’s division.
Congratulations to all our athletes and coaches for your dedication, sportsmanship, and hard work.
